How do I transfer my credits?
Order Transcripts
To transfer credits to the University of Notre Dame, please send an official transcript from every college or university you have attended.
For a transcript to be official, it must:

Be sent directly from the previous college or university to a staff or faculty member at Notre Dame. If you obtain the transcript and then deliver it yourself, it will not聽be considered official.

Come from the original school, which means you need a transcript from each school you attended, even if the credits from one school are listed on another school's transcript.

Where you send your transcript depends on whether you are a new student (first year or transfer student) or a current Notre Dame student.

Please complete the Transfer Course Approval by accessing to receive approval from your advising dean prior to taking the transfer class at another institution.
To transfer your credits, after being granted prior approval by your advising dean, please request your official transcript from the other institution upon completing the course. Electronic transcripts are preferred and should be sent to regtransfer@nd.edu.

Submit Syllabi
Notre Dame needs syllabi for all transfer classes taken to verify compliance with standards. Without syllabi, your classes may not transfer.
